One of the Hacienda’s cornerstones is its biodynamic farming practices, going beyond simply organic, it is a holistic, ecological, and ethical approach to farming and nutrition. Just across the river valley from the Hacienda sits the farm, or ‘Las Hortalizas’ an array of greenhouses, and carefully tended fields that yield bountiful crops seasonally throughout the year.

During a visit to the farm, guests will see where nearly all produce served throughout the hotel is passionately produced. For those wishing to get their hands dirty, guests can even help harvest their favorites which will more than likely end up on their plates during their stay, if not in their very next meal.
