The most authentic experience provided on Hacienda de San Antonio’s grounds, Charrería was inscribed in 2016 on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Charreadas at the Hacienda are a beautiful afternoon affair that bring local horsemen and women, Charros and Escaramuzas, from the surrounding communities together, where they compete and demonstrate incredible their horsemanship and roping skills.

Guests enjoy this spectacular display from the best seats in the house, as a lavish barbeque buffet is prepared alongside the viewing deck, all while experiencing a continuation of animal husbandry practices turned into Mexico’s national sport, that has long been one of the most iconic preservations of Mexican culture throughout the entire country for nearly 500 years.
